Social Impact
Survey

Helping to build more fair and sustainable societies.

Social impacts are often subjective and difficult to measure. Despite the difficulties and cost involved, measuring the impact is essential to:

  • Identify and prioritize the needs of the public served.

  • Assess the quality of the deployment and changes or trends in the issue being addressed.

  • Develop increasingly effective and contributory interventions for the target audiences.

  • Strengthen relationships with other organizations and support fundraising and accountability to supporters, sponsors and volunteers.

  • Help managers tell the organization's story, the social transformation generated, its advances and achievements.

Paradigms to be broken:

Impact assessment is not a cost: it is part of social investment”...

“Financiers/sponsors can invest in social impact research as a way to contribute to the causes they believe in.

Some possibilities for measuring the impact generated by the organization:

  • Monitoring of meeting the needs / expectations over time: situation of the public served before, during and after the organization's actions.

  • Comparison of indicators between individuals assisted and a control group (individuals not assisted with the same characteristics as the assisted group).
